Rebecca B. Martin, Ph.D. Dr. Martin completed her undergraduate education in psychology at The College of New Jersey. Following graduation, she worked for two years as a research assistant in the Neuropsychology department at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. She earned her Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology, with a Neuropsychology specialization, at the APA accredited University of Houston. She then attended an APA accredited internship at Emory University School of Medicine in the Neuropsychology track. She completed her two- year APA and APPCN accredited fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center. Dr. Martin earned her board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology in March 2018.

Throughout her training, she has published manuscripts within the pediatric and adult populations. Previous research projects have included pediatric epilepsy and brain tumor as well as headaches in the Veteran population. She has presented this research at various national and international conferences. She continues to be a part of several Neuropsychological organizations including the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. Current research interests include treatment and differential diagnosis in individuals with dementia or other memory concerns.

Dr. Martin specializes in assessment and treatment (primarily cognitive rehabilitation) of adult patients with a variety of neurological conditions including, but not limited to, dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, and brain injury. Dr. Martin is also an instructor at the University of Houston.
