Dr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton, majoring in psychology and biology. Graduate work was completed at William James College in Boston and she earned a doctorate in clinical psychology with a focus on neuropsychological and psychological assessment. An APA internship was completed with the Mount Sinai Medical School at Elmhurst Hospital in New York, and her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in lifespan clinical neuropsychology was at the Texas Medical School at Houston. As a part of fellowship training, Dr. Williams worked on pediatric and adult Epilepsy Monitoring Units, completing pre-and post-surgical evaluations, as well as in the Children’s Learning Institute and a Neurocognitive Disorders Clinic.

Dr. Williams is currently an assistant professor at Mohawk Valley Community College and consults for various healthcare and skilled nursing facilities in the area. She is an active member of several regional, national, and international associations, including the New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS).

As a lifespan neuropsychologist, Dr. Williams works with a wide range of individuals with neurological conditions, including dementia, epilepsy, and brain injury, as well as developmental disorders, and/or learning difficulties. Dr. Williams has been a New York State licensed psychologist since 2015 and completes evaluations in both English and Spanish.
